Help with a trivial pursuit rule. PLEASE!

Ok so im playing trivial pursuit tonight with some friends and this question came up. Name 2 SNL actors who have been nominated for an academy award. we will say "BOB" answered Bill Murray, (Lost in Translation) and Eddie Murphy. (Dreamgirls) Both of them have been nominated for academy awards. Both cast members on SNL. However the card gave the answer as being Dan Akeroid and Robert Downey Jr. Which is also correct.

Do you feel "BOB" should get credit for this as a correct answer or not.

Absolutely, the game was probably made before either Murray's or Murphy's nominations had occurred.

Agreed. No offense, but this doesn't really seem "thread worthy". lol.

            I'm guessing you're "BOB" eh?

Yeah, it seems the game was produced before those guys got their nominations but I think "BOB" should get credit since he was right.

Wrong, you have to find out what year the game was made, play it with those guideline. It is only fair way to play it.
