Why you would ever drink outta one of those I don't know. Most hotels use plastic cups now just for that reason. Too hard to clean, too easy to break, too much of a liability.

I admit.... I drank out of a hotel room glass when I stayed at the Executive Hilton in Portland, OR. Also used the glass by the sink to wash my mouth out after brushing my teeth. Didn't even think twice at the time. Now, forget it. I'll just use bottled water.

you just have to toss that up to all hotels being nasty as hell. I even bring my own towel when I go to hotels, because I once got one that still had dried blood on it.

Definitely. I agree that it is bad practice to not really wash these glasses, but I would think glass cleaner does help somewhat, and it's not like the cleaner is still on there when it's put back.

Too many germophobes. If it don't kill you, it makes you stronger. I'm pretty sure it's true, cause I rarely if ever get sick... even colds.

Luckily I normally stay in timeshares that have a dishwasher/washer/dryer in them which gives me a little more confidence that the the hotel washes the dishes.
