Re: X-Mas Shows & Movies You Always Watch
I always watch the staples, but two that I have on DVD are Mrs. Hopewell's Christmas Tree which is a HORRIBLE cartoon about an orphanage and this tree...it's probably the worst thing ever which is why it's great.
And the other one I watch is the Chipmunks Christmas where Alvin gives his Golden Echo Harmonica to that kid with cancer and it heals him...completely I think. The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!Comment

Re: X-Mas Shows & Movies You Always Watch
I will seriously watch any Xmas cartoon I can find. My favorites are the classics, Charlie Brown, Rudolph, Frosty, that Twas the Night Before Christmas one with the mice (You know, even a miracle needs a hand). They just take me back to my youth when the new year was just a countdown to the next Xmas. I also make sure to leave my channel on TBS all Christmas Eve and Day for the Christmas Story Marathon. I can never get enough of that movie.PS: You guys are great.

Edited: "the night they saved Xmas" 1984. Starring Jaclyn Smith and Art Carney. Wish I could find that one, I'd buy it. Great movie.Last edited by coffeeholic; 11-05-2008, 10:42 AM.ByurrulzIdon'tfollowComment

Re: X-Mas Shows & Movies You Always Watch
"Scrooged" with Bill Murray hasn't been mentioned yet..... hilarious. Especially his scenes with Carol Kane. I love the self-important art work he has in his office. "Cross: a thing you nail someone to." (his name is Frank Cross)
Frank Cross: You're staying here with me. We're working late.
Grace: I have to take my son to the doctor.
Frank Cross: GRACE! When I work late, YOU work late!
Grace: But I made the appointment two months ago!
Frank Cross: [sarcastically] I CARE!
[grabbing Grace]
Frank Cross: We're indivisible. If I'm workin' late, you GOTTA work late! If you can't work late, I can't work late! If I can't work late, I CAN'T WORK LATE!
At some point we always throw in the Christmas episode from "The Honeymooners".Last edited by daflyboys; 11-05-2008, 05:59 PM.Comment
