Where are all you HS seniors applying this year?

USC (National Merit Scholarship of $17k/yr If I get accepted)
UCLA
UC Santa Barbara
Cal Poly SLO
University of Arizona(accepted w/ full ride scholarship for National Merit Scholarship)
UC Davis
SDSU

GPA 3.6
SAT 2070
ACT 33
SAT II Math II - 800
SAT II US History- 600
National Merit Semifinalist (most likely finalist)

I think I'll get into everywhere except USC and UCLA. What do you guys think and what schools would you guys suggest? Where are all you other HS seniors applying?

I'm putting the finishing touches on my undergraduate transfer application. Applying to UCLA, UC Irvine, and UC San Diego.

Can't wait to go out of state for grad school, though. Still have a long while for that stuff.

I'd be pretty surprised if you didn't get into all of your schools. You got some pretty strong credentials. I was in just about the same boat as you.

It's better than going to a school you don't like because they gave you the most money.

I made that mistake and ended up having a miserable freshman year and transferred. Now I'm at a school I love and should've went to originally.

Ha I got offered a full ride to Arizona too just for being a National Merit finalist. That's a lot of schools to apply to though. Your grades and SAT aren't much worse than mine were, and I just applied to GT. You should probably get into all of them, since I'm assuming you are in-state for the Cal schools.

I'm not a senior, but I'm thinking about leaving my college. UMD is expensive as Hell (total mortgage+bills on a two story townhouse in Bama was cheaper than splitting my 3 room apartment rent), the school is run by a bunch of idiots who are too self absorbed in their greatness to run a school correctly, the policies are whack as ****, and all the girls are from New Jersey and you know what that means (if you don't know what that means, as Karlos alluded to, it means they have genital herpes).

I think I may go to San Diego St, ASU, or a Georgia school.

Didn't you just transfer to Maryland from Auburn last year?
