I got up this morning like any other Monday. Took a shower, got dressed, and then headed off to school. I was more than half-way to there, when I hit a patch of black ice and my car went crazy.

I first slid into the guardrail on the passenger side, then my car shot out and did a 180 on the street, then I flew back into the guardrail tail end first. I don't really even remember how it happened. I just remember the car going sideways and hitting things and then stopping quickly. I was the only person on the road when the accident occured(thank god), and then three ladies pulled up a few moments after. They stayed around and chit-chatted with me until the cops/parents arrived. The cop was pretty nice; he didn't give me a ticket. So I have no legal issues, just have to figure out what to do with the car and figure out how I'm supposed to get to school until things are set straight.

Luckily I'm not dead nor injured, but my car is screwed up pretty bad. Hopefully the car can be repaired, it was fun to drive.

Sorry to hear that man, black ice is horrible. What kind of car did you drive?

It was a nice car. I just filled up the tank and cleaned it yesterday afternoon.

that sucks, I remember my first black ice experience. Almost wrapped my vehicle around a tree. Completely lucked out.

The most important thing is your fine. Cars can be replaced. Black ice is horrible, it is a common thing here in Canada. At least you were the only car on the road like you said. Around here we still have jackasses who drive over the speed limit in treacherous conditions. And drive way to close.

I am glad you're okay. It's a tough pill to swallow because your car is messed up, but it's better than breaking you back or even worse.

Was there supposed to be an ambulance or some kind of medical attention? People kept asking if I was alright, which I replied with "I'm fine, it was nothing, I'm a man", but I didn't receive any kind of medical attention.

Usually I see ambulances and fire trucks at accidents. One cop showed up, and that was it. The cop asked if I was okay, but that was about the extent of it.

Not always, I had an accident with a deer when I was 16. Only two cop cars, and a wrecker came. No medical attention, although they asked me a couple times.

I was hoping they screwed up and I could sue. Make enough money to repair the car.

Damn that sucks, man.

I've had a tire blow out in the middle of the night during a horrible storm, and my transmission die on me in the middle of an intersection, but have never been driving during an accident, so far, thank God...so luckily for you there were no other cars on the road and nothing more serious happened.
