    Finding An Inexpensive Vehicle

Anyone ever had to look for a vehicle but had very little funds to do it?

I'm currently trying to find something that's between $1500 and $2000. My first thought is that it'd be damn near impossible to find anything for that.

I figured I'd ask and see if anyone has ever had such luck finding something?

I don't care what it is. Only thing I'd ask is that it get me from point A to point B and have decent gas mileage.

The Soldier offered me his crap for $12. I am now thinking about taking him up on his offer.

I too could use some information, sadly.

        Try a nissan sentra, 89-91.

        look here as a reference:

        or an 90-91 Toyota Corolla.

good small cars, great on gas, and within price range.

Check auto trader online and then also on the magazine racks at gas stations. I've found every used car with them and found some amazing deals.

For what you are trying to get, stick with good ol honda. You can find them at that price and they will be easy/cheap to fix and are extremley reliable. I've road an accord to almost to 175,000 miles and my cousin has it now and has gone over 200,000 on the same engine and still going strong.

Has anyone ever had a Mazda Protege? Pretty good car?

Apparently my dad actually has a 1994 that needs a new motor. With the money I get from my truck, I could pay for the motor and have some left over.

Just drive the streets and look. Private owner vehicles will always be the best deals in used cars. You can easily find a quality transportation vehicle for under $2000.

I'd buy a junk car for $700-$1000, and then put some $1000 rims on it.

This one looks like a solid buy:

Green Bay Packers | Milwaukee Brewers | Bradley Braves | Wisconsin Badgers
Marquette Golden Eagles | Milwaukee Bucks | Milwaukee Panthers
