I think it was since 2004, someone at another forum mentioned something about rosters for an NCAA game. they also mentioned that the community here was a bunch of cool guys who helped with just about anything.
What made you decide to donate to Operation Sports?
It's a great site with a great community, and I figured I'd just do my part to help out a little.
Your favorite sports teams?
All the Philly teams. But I do have other teams i like to watch as well. In Basketball I like ot watch a team like the Suns. Well rounded and really play a TEAM game. there isnt one "go to" guy on the team. Hockey I like the SHarks and the Canucks, and I really don't have an explanation for either. Baseball I like the Red Sox. My uncle who is probably the biggest reason I am such a sports nut now, is the reason I like the Red Sox. He is a HUGE Sox fan. He's been following them since he was a kid and he's pushing 50.
What are your hobbies?
Playing video games. sports when i still can, gets harder when you get older, all your old high school buddies start to have different schedules than you. Poker (i only gamble a little though, im not the kind of guy thats gonna bet my house or anything).
Tell us about about your family.
My Mother is disabled. I try to help her out as much as I can. My father passed on from cancer that they didnt know where it originated from when he was 50. It was just a few weeks before my 18th birthday. My dad was my role model. He worked his *** off to make sure my family lived comfortably. Its a shame that by the time he found out he had cancer, it was already too late. He found out in august of 2000. and he seemed fine. He went in for a hernia operation a week before thanksgiving. Never left the hospital, He passed on Dec 9th 2000. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff he used to say. How right he was. Life is too short. So because of him I try not to let any little things really bother me. Life is too short to be pissed off over little things.
