I actually have to say the cat pics w/ the cheeseball quotes are getting freaking annoying.

Even on a discussion about OS we can't avoid Rick Roll garbage. It's getting old now, for sure. (BTW, I didn't click the link, but you guys seem pretty angry....? Guess I know what that means)

Seriously though... some of the "old school" fellas have lost their charm. Even some of the mods were more humorous as regular posters.

Is the job getting to you guys? I say you ask for a raise. Steve's got the $!

Yeah that thing didn't lock up my browser or anything but it's just a lame joke that's getting old. Maybe it was funny the first few times but when you're still doing it a year or two later it's time to find something new.

There was a video based from Youtube and he linked the Rick Roll video to it. Whoever proofread the presentation didn't double check the video and video image of it showed consulting on there so I'm assuming thats why it wasn't double checked.

The guy said he thought it was a joke and would be caught before it was presented.

It is getting old. The mods don't even lock this thread or even delete the link/post.............EG is even promoting that link in his post, great.............what if someone goes one step further and starts creating dummy roster files with this crap.

No one has crossed a line in this thread. The first few posts were scared it was going to get locked for people voicing their opinion, now you are complaining it's not locked. As mods, we can't win sometimes.

I posted a link to where you were trying to convince another poster that they might have a virus. That's ok, but being "rick rolled" isn't? I was just posting the hypocrisy in your swear induced rant about the Rick Roll.

Pared was the one that posted that link, so wrong person yet again EG..............two mistakes in 2 days with me.

I was going along with his joke and even sent a PM right afterwards to the OP that we were joking.

This is a little different, deliberately creating a javascript hijacking program of your browser.

I'm ok with jokes, but it pissed me off last night when I was working on something else and due to firefox and even IE 7 with the tabs you have to shutdown the entire browser losing everything.
