I've never really heard that it was supposed to give you a good indication of how you'll do on the SAT, more it was just for practice on the SAT. If you add a 0 to my PSAT score, I went up 210 points when I took the SAT.

It's supposed to give you an idea of where you would score on the real SAT but of course it's not foolproof. I wouldn't put too much stock into it but I got a 226 on the PSAT and ended up getting a 2230 on the real SAT.

I took it a while ago. Didn't see my scores on it. It was pretty easy, except for some of the math in the end. I hate math :x

The math is always the easiest part for me. I got a perfect in math on the PSAT, a 770 on the SAT, and a perfect 800 on the SAT II Math 2. I did pretty well on reading and writing but the math score is what made my score so high.

The SAT math is the type of stuff I did in middle school.

I never took the PSAT. But I did take the Plan test which was a practice ACT test and I scored a 16 without any prep. When I took the real thing, I got a 20 on it.

                  I don't understand the ACTs.

I personally believe that the ACT was created for the sole purpose of making football recruits at Auburn, Alabama, Florida, UGA, FSU, Tennessee, and Miami eligible under NCAA rules.

That and stupid people. You never hear anyone say "well, I got a 1500 on the SAT, but only a 10 on the ACT"; it's always "yeah I got a 650 combined on the SAT, but a 31 (it's always a 31) on the ACT!"

The ACT is harder than the SAT. I've never heard anyone hwo did bad on the SAT do anything on the ACT and all the recruits I know are getting 16's and 18's on it.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

ACTs are an easy confidence booster used for kids to get into third tier schools. I was in 98th percentile when I took it in seventh grade for some program Duke was doing.
