Good place to find a part-time job?

Things are getting pretty tight and I need to find a second job. I'm thinking like 3rd shift or wee hours in the morning sort of deal. What would be some good places to look? Do any of you guys have jobs that have hours from between say 12:00 - 8:00 AM?

I've never had a job with those hours, but working the audit shift at a hotel would probably be pretty easy.

Maybe a security job. there area lot of those overnights. or of course, a stocker at the local supermarket.

Register with a temp agency and tell them that you want 3rd shift jobs, they usually have alot of openings. And like others said try a grocery store or some place like Target or Toys R Us as an overnight person.

UPS and Fed-Ex are almost always hiring for their overnight shifts. Wouldn't be a full 8 hours, but you are guaranteed pay. At least you used to be.

Yeah, UPS was going to be my suggestion. It's easy to get PT work there.

I see a lot of 24 hrs Wal-Marts, so I guess there, as well.

Walmart or TRU would be a good option Future, considering that we have many of those here on the south suburbs. I think the Country Club Hills Walmart is 24 hours, but I don't know if I would want to be around there at night.

Haha, I haven't smoked in a few months. The 420 is mostly just because that is my birthday. It used to mean more than it does now.

Yeah it is 24 hours, but I really despise Walmart. I really couldn't work there I don't believe. I've noticed its always busy there late at night too, that doesn't seem like anything to worry about, but I just couldn't work there. I just don't know if my pride would allow it. Pretty much anywhere else is fairgame though.

Haha, I'd be the least imposing security guard ever. I think crime rates would go up if I was security for some joint. Robbers and thieves would probably look at taking down the store as just practice if I was on patrol.
