Help with all in one home theatre system?

Alright I know some of you guys look down on all in one theatre systems but it's what my mom could afford and what I got for Christmas.

So I have the Samsung HT-X50 and I want to hook up :

    1. My HD Cable receiver
    2. Playstation 3
    3. XBOX 360

So that they will all have surround sound. Now I'm not sure how to hook it up because there arent as many outputs as I thought there would be but I know there has to be a way so i've drawn up a diagram of how the back of the unit is and if you guys could tell me what to do it would be great.

How many inputs are there? If you have 3, you should/could run all of your units into your receiver and then run one output from your receiver to your TV. Whether you were watching cable, playing the 360 or the PS3, your TV would always be on the same input channel and you would just change the input/source you wanted to use through your receiver.

This is how I have mine set up and I wouldn't have it any other way. I absolutely never have to change the channel on my TV. If I want to watch a DVD, I turn on my TV, turn my receiver to DVD. If I want to watch cable, I just turn the receiver to my Cable and if I want to play Xbox, I turn it to the Xbox source.

I never have to worry about my TV being on input 1 for cable, input 2 for DVD and input 3 for Xbox, etc.

The speakers should be self explanatory, but if you have questions, let me know.

Are there any inputs besides one optical in?

        No other inputs. Only outputs.

On my TV I have a Digital Audio Output, HDMI IN, 2 Component in, 3 RGY In.

Ok i've found that there is an audio out section kinda connected to where the components go in. So do you think if I have the 360 and Cable box hooked to the components and ran a regular av cord to the input on the reciever that would work outputting the sound from those two sources?

Then run the audio cord from PS3 to the input on the receiver? You think that would solve it all?

if possible, I would return it and get a system without a DVD player built in. It will get you a LOT more inputs so that you can hook everything up. If you can and decide to go that route, Ill help point you to some good systems if you'd like.

I think you said your TV has an optical out and it looks like your HT system has an optical in (Digital Audio In). I would connect everything to your TV and then connect your TV's optical OUT to your HT systems optical IN. There maybe a little downgrade in sound quality but if you are like me, you won't even notice it. If you are really into the clearest best sound available, you may not be happy.

You can also get on optical audio cable through ebay or amazon for $3. I got an HDMI cable and optical audio cable for $10 shipped through amazon.

Best advice here (assuming you can't trade it for a system with more inputs)...

I'm not major sound freak so I wouldn't really mind. Kinda late now I bought this switch that will allow me to have all the optical cables in one and just switch to which one I want to use so wish I would've thought this earlier.

                  Thank you.
