For those who don't know, Clay Shaver has stepped down as the senior editor here at OS.
In just under ten years.....
Clay Shaver has completed hundreds of game reviews, even more previews, and has been the head of the OS mock draft for many years. That's with a desktop crash while writing one of his reviews that might have been his best writing yet.
He beautifully engineered the mastery of penmanship before the merger of DSM and OS.
With 8 full years under his belt, Clay looks more and more like the hall of fame sports video game writer of the future.
I watched through the years thinking I'd actually rather have Clay than Peter King for the position of editor of my favorite website, and I really like King as a writer. Clay was more humorous in his columns, had a quicker wit, and every bit as strong a vocabulary. In fact, Clay had more umph in his columns than King.
This has made the last 5 years for me as an OS reader.
Thanks for everything, Clay. We will miss your writing here at OS. Be sure to keep us posted as to where you land. You not writing would be a shame and a waste of talent.
