The Dogfish Head Brewery's product line can be found in virtually every package store along the Delaware seashore and the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

I only drink Miller Lite and Jack, but I just got home from Ocean City, MD and we went to dinner at the Dogfish Head place in Delaware, and I tried that beer and loved it. And lucky for me I am only 5 minutes away from the Dogfish place in Gaithersburg, MD.

I will still stick with Miller Lite, but will also stop by the Dogfish place every once and awhile and grab a few of those and for anyone who hasnt tried Dogfish Head, try it and you will enjoy.

Nope. It's not legal for some reason. Beer distributors are also closed on Sunday. In college we'd drive to NY to get kegs on Sunday's if we threw a party.

I never knew CA didn't sell liquor in the grocery store. They don't around here either. Just have to go to a liquor store (although some are attached to grocery stores....Giant Eagle is a grocery store with a liquor store attached to it).

No, that's what I was saying. California does, Virginia doesn't.

Yeah, Bud and the rest of the "classic" American and Canadian beers (Coors, MGD, Labatts, etc.) are pretty much garbage; they're just too light and delicate to be considered "good" beer.

My favs have to be Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Sam Adams (especially Winter Lager), Guinness Stout, Foster's, and Bass. The Heineken-Beck's-Grolsch trinity is pretty dope, too.

            Bud isn't beer = true.

Guiness putting every American beer to shame = FALSE. The American craft beer scene is extremely strong and puts most countries to shame with quality and variety. Yes the Germans have their hefeweizens and the like, the Belgians have their crazy ales, but there is not a more diverse and better beer scene in the world than in USA. You just gotta poke around and demand better beer here. It's sad that Bud, Miller and Coors represent "American" beer as they are all one crappy style, american style lagers / light lagers. There's so many great styles and breweries tucked away at your local liquor stores, but the general public walk right buy these and never give them the time of day.

Hell, Guiness probably wouldn't even make a top 25 list on a list of American made stouts.

Anybody else not care what they drink? All that **** is gross but I'll drink it in moderation to fit in. The only drink I get is the "special" that night.

Oh I will say the best bang for the buck was some octoberfest beer. 3/4 of a beer and I was drunk and I'm not even kidding.

I am a lightweight though despite weighing 210 lbs

Great Lakes Brewing Company is an example of a company that makes a great selection of beers. Their Christmas Ale is unbelievably popular in Northeast Ohio.

                    Re: Budwieser: Not all that

Gimme a Sam Adams anytime over crap like Bud and Miller. I used to like Budweiser/Bud Light, but after my first Sam Adams, I can no longer enjoy a Bud.

As for favorite seasonal Sam Adams, it's a three way tie between Octoberfest, Winter Lager, and Summer Ale. I have some winter lager in my fridge right now, waiting to be drank after work.

Guinness is fantastic as well, but I only drink it once in a while.

The worst crap in the world, as said earlier in the thread, is Steel Reserve. Sadly, it sells because it's cheap, but obviously the brewer, if you can even call them that, doesn't give a damn about taste, which makes it perfect for the college crowd. I'd rather drink a bottle of spoiled milk.

I have a friend who drinks that Newcastle. I used to make fun of him because at first look I thought his money was low. LOL. But it actually doesn't taste half bad. Lucky for me it's right across the street for me in bottle form. Since I really haven't looked for it I can't say if the local restaurants have it but I do recall seeing it on tap at a few places. I'm going to see if I can find that Dogfish Head. Since I'm in NJ I think that place , The Wine Library, should have it. Sounds like their kinda thing.

I'm not one that's real picky when it comes to beer just as long as it's cold. I've tried tons but the ones I drink the most are Heineken, Amstel, and occasionally Warsteiner.

On a side note, I do drink Red Bull and Grey Goose like it's going out of style. I just can't get enough.

Grey Goose is the most overrated liquid on the planet.

Saw this thing recently where they took 10 or 12 self-proclaimed Grey Goose drinkers, and none of them could even pick Grey Goose out in a taste test. Even more, more than a few of them selected it as their least favorite.

                                Overrated, yes.

But it's still fun to say you're drinking Grey Goose instead of Karkov.
