Re: Goodbye videogames and OS
Lmao.If it must come down to this, then I'm sorry it had to be this way. I agree that video games these days are much less about just being fun. It is in our human nature to become anal and over-analyze now that we've stepped up another generation. That said, it's unfortunate that you couldn't keep finding the fun in games these days; it's even more unfortunate that OS has been good to you solely in the gaming department, seeing that this is the greatest message board community I have been with, regardless of the gaming aspects. I hope I'll be able to remain having fun with games as long as possible. At least, financially, you'll be breathing easier.
Though it's probably not an appropriate time to ask, by "getting rid" of your 360, are you taking up any offers through the Internet?
Sorry to see you go, man.
Anyway, good luck with whatever you do. You'll end up coming back though...they all come back...Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Yeah...sometimes people just need a break. Hell, I've taken a couple months away from OS and not playing games much...Can't see ever getting annoyed this much to not want to ever play anything though...so many good games out thereNintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Goodbye videogames and OS
I know where this guy is coming from. A few games have given me fits over the years and I've had to take a sabbatical from gaming. Sensible Soccer for XBL is the current demon of all that is evil in my life....I think I'm 35,36 and 91 or something like that...
APF2K8 and NBA2K8 are reason enough not to throw in the towel though. Besides, this is supposed to be "fun". If it's not, don't do it!The line must be drawn HERE! This far, no further!Comment

His is the first trailer on the right with car parts scattered throughout the yard, a rusted out GTO, clothes hanging from a makeshift clothesline, and the garden gnome dressed in a John Deere outfit.Last edited by countryboy; 01-06-2008, 05:38 PM.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Goodbye videogames and OS
You're going to have to narrow it down a bit. We're talking about Indiana here.
(Come on I can get away with that. I've heard 'em all living in Kentucky.)MLB: Cincinnati Reds
NFL: Cincinnati Bengals
NCAA Hoops: Xavier Musketeers
NCAA Football: Miami Hurricanes
NHL: Calgary Flames
