Router Help please...

I was using a linksys b router, now my cousin gave me his wirless g router with the speedbooster, I know for those who have this router know the speedbooster light is supose to be white, mine is yellow, also I can't login into his router to change the security settings, and I can't login in as admin, I tried resetting and I still can't logn in as admin....Anyone who can help, thanks.

If you can't log in as admin, you have not completely reset the router. I believe the default username for Linksys is admin with no password.

it is,.....Yes the router works, I'm using it right now. I was told to hold the button on the back (reset button) for 40 while still powered on, then unplug it for 10 seconds and then when putting it back on the admin password should be back to default, I'm doing this and I can't login in as admin.

Are you sure you have the correct default username and password?

the default username is supose to be blank, and the password is admin, and thats it, thats the default user name and passowrd for linksys.


I don't have the software cd, is there anywhere I can download it.

The only thing I can think of is that it's really not reset completely.
