Re: UFO Sighted in Texas?
Not worth it. I have now TWICE (in two different threads) along with Double Eights, triplej96 and some others, provided numerous links to see for yourselves, but I guess that is too much work. So the logical response is to get all kinds of smartass. Oh....and cuss.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad at all. I love good debate. I knew I was pushing a touchy topic with that Philip Schneider guy. But naturally, when a guy says he had a shoot-out with aliens, people are just not going to believe. Fair enough.
DoubleEights posts about NASA coverups was also debunked.
Hey I am all for finding the truth, but I am certainly not going to believe a bunch of things that not only don't make sense from a common sense standpoint, don't make sense from a science standpoint, but also flat out insult my intelligence.
I'd love to see concrete evidence. Like I said, I find this to be a very interesting subject. But I am not going to swallow whatever is thrown my way simply because I want to believe.Comment

Re: UFO Sighted in Texas?
If Aliens have made contact, they obviously have found ways of transportation that don't involve oil. If our government has knowledge of any alien encounters, it would be in their best interest to keep it a secret.
Our government will do whatever necessary to make sure oil still plays a significant role in our country. Look up Stanley Meyer for an example of that (I am just assuming. The pieces fit the puzzle).
Oil = money = power.

I'm gonna guess that it would actually cost less to invest in R&D for new fuel technologies than to pay off and get in the pockets of every government in the world to keep quiet about aliens visiting our planet. There's tons of money to be made in contracts for space travel technology. If ExxonMobile spent some oil money and developed a new fuel source for spacecraft to other planets, do you not think they would make tons of money?
Also, what's keeping the aliens from only meeting with the U.S.? Why would they not check out iceland, or australia? The US puppet government to oil companies isn't that strong.Last edited by bkfount; 01-24-2008, 11:21 AM.Comment

Re: UFO Sighted in Texas?
I believe there is "life" out there. I just don't think that "life" can sit down and discuss if the Giants will win the superbowl with me. There is probably some single cell organisms out there or whatever but I highly doubt any complex beings such as life on this planet. I could very well be wrong because while we haven't had any contact from the outside we haven't exactly traveled much of space ourselves. There could quite possibly be a mirror earth somewhere and they don't have the technology, like us, to find us. I doubt it though.Comment
