sounds like he simply didn't know his guns period (or too drank). Your gun has to go in slide lock and it to be empty from firing. idiot probably fired off a bunch of rounds and took the magazine out and saw that there were no rounds left and didn't notice that his gun had not slide lock and there was still one round in the chamber.

if your going to use a gun you need safety training. for him and everyone around him. could have been his friend. and that was reckless, bullets go up in the air and it has to come down. (sometimes killing others walking or in their home.)

probably not too many. When you get hit by a falling bullet, most people are standing. meaning chances are in got hit in the head
