    Ahhh... Midwestern Weather

Monday our high temp was 58, yesterday it was 6 and today its like 12. A 50 degree difference in temp in a two day span, you gotta love the midwest.

It was 70 here Monday afternoon, Tuesday morning at 4AM it was still in the upper 50's. I go to bed after getting the paper, and wake up around 1PM. Look outside and there is 3" of snow on the ground and the temprature was below 10 degrees. Just awesome.

Yesterday (Tuesday) it was pouring rain in the late morning, early afternoon. Me and my dad went out to eat about 5:30pm and it was still raining off and on. An hour after we got home it was snowing. After it snowed the temperture dropped big time. Today is VERY VERY cold out.

This whole month has been full of wierd weather.

Let's see, I had a 60 degree day with a tornado warning while I was at work, two weeks later I was at the NFC Championship game (enough said). I am back at school in Illinois for spring semester and we were in the 50's at lunch. I had class in the same building from 3-7:15, needless to say it was a little bit of a shock when I stepped outside.

Back home, my sister had school off today because of windchills around -35.

We had a wind chill of -35 sometime last week... yesterday or a couple days ago it was 50.

It was 50 yesterday then today it was 17 and windy as hell. I went outside with a damp sweatshirt on(I was in a hurry and couldn't wait for it to dry) and I swear the shirt started freezing.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I couldn't even see the end of my driveway when I left for work today. I was the only car on a 6 lane highway and I had to go only 15 mph because I couldn't tell which lane I was in or if I was coming up on a curve. It was brutal.

-35 wind chill when I left for work at 4 this morning and 25+ mph winds. Driving to work this morning was like driving on a sheet of ice; not fun. And apparently it was the first time in 14 years that the Madison school district canceled school throughout the whole area.

Oh, just wait. 8-12 inches of snow overnight.

You shouldn't be jealous of it. That much snow sucks.

Why? Because it sucks to drive in? That doesn't matter much to me, normally don't have to go anyplace and I just went and bought groceries, so I'm ready for a decent snow.

That and I'm going to have to shovel it. A lot of it.
