The Super Bowl starts too early for me to even think about having to recover. Granted I didn't really care much for this game, but in general, it ends at like 10-10:30ish. The College Football NC game is put on a Monday night and starts at like 8:30. That makes me mad, as the game ends at about 12 in the East.

I don't really party or anything, I like to watch the game and pay attention to it, so I guess I don't really see having to take the next day off anyways for me at least, unless the game ended at about 4 am.

I made it through the day at work.

Lots of people working with bloodshot eyes and lots, and lots of coffee was consumed today.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Can you invite me to your super bowl party next year?

I'm off every Monday...as well as Sunday and Tuesday. Not a bad way to start the week! I didn't drink a drop though during the Super Bowl so there isn't really much recovering to be done.

Why not Superbowl Saturday? I know typically NFL football is a Sunday sport, but once Thanksgiving rolls around there are games every Saturday, especially in the first two rounds of the playoffs, where there are two games on Saturday. Plus they get the extra week off anyway and since it's a prime time event, it doesn't end until 10:00 or later on the East Coast.

I know Saturday night is a bad night for TV ratings and Sunday is very strong (and I'm sure this has pretty much everything to do with the decision), but being it is the Superbowl, it seems people would watch regardless.

                Just a thought.
