 youvalss, I'm with you. No matter what I eat, I can't gain weight. I'm only a teenager, but I'm 5'11'' and 130, skinny as hell. I'm starting to try to bulk up for basketball and baseball next year, but for me it's just hard to stay with pumping the iron. I get bored too easily and am not committed enough.

 I've lost almost 30lbs since the New Year. I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see. I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

 I lost 10lbs almost instantly when I switched to diet drinks. I exercise each morning by running/jogging with my dog in the park(he didn't need to lose weight) and have been doing regular excercises. Now that spring is here, I am going to start working out again and try and tone my body.
 
 
 Good luck with those 5-7 pounds man.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

 I tried to stop drinking soda period. And I lost 5 pounds. Then I started drinking soda on the basis that I was before I stopped, and I gained that 5 pounds back. I'm now at 6'2 220. I want to get down to 200 by mid June hopefully. What can I do?thanks man.

 #1- Cut out soda! It's terrible for you man. So much sugar which spikes insulin and then that in turn makes you more likely to store fat! Diet soda is fine, in moderation. Get a good mix of water and diet drinks.
 
 #2- Just make smarter eating decisions. When eating grains go for whole wheat products, which have a lower glycemic index and do not spike insulin as processed grains. Basically chose wheat over white bread and try whole wheat pasta as opposed to regular.
 
 #3- If you're going to eat junk food, do it in moderation! That is quite possibly the toughest thing to do because of how large food portions are. If you get a dessert...share or get a really small one!
 
 #4- Exercise. Get a sweat going and burn some calories. Lifting weights can burn cals just as much as cardio (well depending on how you do it).
