Thanks guys... I really appreciate it.

Today was graduation day, and it was the most surreal experience that I've ever had. It was crazy. It still hasn't really kicked in, and seeing the look on people's faces as I passed them in my cruiser today was crazy. Definitely a great feeling indeed. Announcing my radio traffic, calling In service, etc, was awesome and something that i'll always remember.

Hopefully I'll have some good pictures to show a little later. My bro in law who is a photographer, should have some really good ones.

Do you have a field training program? After the academy I had another 18 weeks in field training. Didn't even get to drive until week 2!

It will take a while to get comfortable with the job. I just had my 3 year mark and finally feel confident that I can deal with almost anything I come across. The first few years are absolutely wonderful though and the friendships you make will last a lifetime. Above all though have fun and be safe.
