I think I'm going to stop buying because I can't afford to keep up with the jones and it's a slap in the face when I think about how much the shoes cost to make and what they charge us. Enough is enough in my opinion, I just have to ask myself where do they cross the line and stop this shady business.

Re: OS Shoes Thread
Anyone own vibrams? I used to laugh at people who wear them but living on a beach there is nothing else I wear now while I'm at the beach.
I even lift weights with them and they have been strengthening my feet. I don't think I'll ever run in them because I've had bad case of plantar fasciitis.

Re: OS Shoes Thread
Vibram is in the process of a huge class-action lawsuit because, shocker, while the shoes are good for building up muscles in the back of the leg they are HORRIBLE for the front and often cause shin splints. The only time I wore mine before I threw them away was on vacation for excursions. Mike, you should just box in the Kobe 9 elites, lol.Comment

Re: OS Shoes Thread
Some of them actually do have bids getting up near $1,000. Most are a buy it now price of $1,000 with a best offer option. Maybe if you're lucky you could pull that much, but I'd expect something a little less than that. Even if you can manage to get like $600 out of them, you could get 4-6 pairs of shoes that you actually enjoy and would wear. I'd sell them in a heartbeat too, but I'm sure his brother will be more than happy to get his hands on those.
The Everglades are probably my favorite of the Lebron 11's. I'm not a big fan of the 11's though, especially at $200. I have a hard time spending $160-$180 on shoes unless I absolutely love them. $200 is where my line is drawn though. My shoe buying funds have all but gone away after this first year of college.North Carolina Tar Heels

Re: OS Shoes Thread
yeah I agree on the money issue, once I got out of college my shoe collection got much bigger. When I saw the Everglades in real life I had to have them. The other Lebron 11's I have are the Terracotta Warriors [got a good deal on kixify] Miami Nights[ I love the colors and The Forging IRonsComment
