Post your opinions of em when the arrive.. I've only heard a couple people have so so feelings about them.

Oh and some of the gaudy color ways.. yeah a bit much for me. But later this year there's going to be some GREAT colorways coming. Hopefully they'll be available to the general public.

Yeah I actually headed over to NikeTalk for the first time in years to read up on the HD's. There's a friggen 300 page thread over there, pretty impressive. I didn't think they would end up being this big. It doesn't look like a lot of the color ways are going to be easily available so we'll see. I'll def keep an eye on em though esp if they are as comfortable to ball in as I hope.

Yeah, I've read every page LOL. Someone posted a pic of like 20 diff HD's.. and most of them were new colorways like for high schools and universities.

A classic, do you have them in the black and white checkered though?

I may pick up the Concord color way next month.

i would possibly look away from HDs unless:

                      1. you dont ball alot and have a decent rotation
                      2. you have money for many more pairs

ive read and heard stories over at NT about the foam just being like the shipping peanuts over time, where there is little to no cushion after about 80 hours of useage. that lunar foam can only work for so long.

bottomline, stick with the double stacked zoom air shoes

These shoes are simply too great to pass on. I have read those 80 hours comments, and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they were true- the sole seems pretty thin- but if you're a gym rat then your feet deserve these shoes.

Every time I play in these, I feel like I'm moving quicker and faster and jumping higher than everyone else.

definetily keep your feet happy. it may very well be people who just focus too much on their feet as they play. they start believeing crap.

i have the running variety with th lunar foam, the lunar racer and lunar trainer. so the same may apply there where the foam just doesnt bounce back anymore after a certain amount of time. but even for me, they just are too great to pass up on, so i can see what youre saying.

I have some balling shoes already so HDs havent been an option for me yet.

Reub, on NT you can find all sorts of posts of people saying how they got their HD's for like 80-95 bucks from Nike.com or Eastbay or Finishline.com using various discount codes. I definitely think you should consider these.

My Hyperdunks came in last Thursday, finally got to play in them on Sunday. They are light, the angle support is great as is the traction. Cutting in them felt very responsive.

My only problem is that they were pinching my Achilles tendon quite a bit. Hopefully that will go away once I break them in a little more and these also aren't the first Nike's I've worn that pinched like that. I'm definitely a little concerned though especially since I was wearing two pairs of socks already.

I never understood how guys like MJ and other pros could wear a new pair of kicks every single game. Maybe my feet are oddly shaped or something but I'm usually in some discomfort the first couple times I play in new kicks.

Played again tonight, pinching was completely gone. I played for a solid two hours and my feet weren't/aren't sore at all which is absolutely amazing, I can't remember the last time that happened.

I can't imagine I've ever worn a better basketball shoe, the OG Air Pippens were my favorite since back in the day but there's a good chance these will be #1. I'm probably gonna get at least two other pairs. Very happy with my purchase.
