I'm a sophomore at Penn State University, and I'm involved in our student-run radio station, ComRadio.

I recently began working on a sports talk show called The Western PA Sports Showdown. We cover Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, and Penn State Sports.

It airs from 9pm to 10pm (EST) on Tuesdays. You can check it out by going to comradio.psu.edu and clicking "listen live" around 9pm (it should open up in iTunes or something).

It'd be sweet if some OS'ers checked it out. If you do, I'm Geno on the show (go figure).

hahaha... it's funny you mention that because one of the kids on the show is from the Erie area.

It was a good show content-wise tonight. Some technical bugs and whatnot, but we had some good stuff in terms of Big Ben's contract, Penguins run to the playoffs, and Buccos training camp stuff.

I'm gonna bump this for this week.

Should be a good show this week (3/25). We're obviously going to cover the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament in depth. The Penguins are in the midst of the playoff race right now and trying to improve their seeding. Plus, as usual, we've got Pirates Spring Training.

Gonna bump this again:

Tonight, we've got Pirate baseball (opening night last night), Penguins Hockey (gearing up for that playoff run), college hoops (FINAL FOUR! IT'S AWESOME, BABY!), and even a little NFL Talk (owners meetings this week).
