Who else has had this monkey virus??

*** ****- this was the first time I had been really sick in like 15 years.
coughing for 2-3 weeks. fever for like 2 days, chills, eyeballs friggin killing me, Coughing up mucus, blood in my snots and mucus. nose, teeth , face feeling like somebody was pushing on them.
Finally got rid of this thing last week.
Probably didnt help that I played a game of ice hockey with the fever at the start of the thing, then went skiing the next day when my chest hurt during the cough.
Seems like everyone around this area has this thing now.

My entire family has been sick. I had all the symptoms that you mentioned except I didn't run a fever. For two days it felt like my head was going to explode, and I didn't do nothing.

Everybody in my family got that exact same thing at one point or another this winter. I had it for nearly a month (minus the fever as I was the only one not to get the fever) but man it's BRUTAL. This has been one of the worst flu seasons in years.

I had that crap, I can't explain it but even my hair hurt. It was a migraine for 4+ days. I hadn't missed a day of work in 10+ years up until this winter. I thought I had a nasty sinus infection until I went to the doctor. There was no medicine for this thing. I'm getting a flu shot next year.

I had it w/o the cough, got better. Then I got a sinus infection, got better. Then I got the same cold but this time with the cough. I finally feel completely better. This started the week after Christmas and I finally felt better last week. It has been an awful winter!

I usually get it once every winter. I had it 3 weeks back and it lasted for like 4 or 5 days.

The thing I had lasted for 3 weeks. Unbearable headache for 4 days. I then had a cough including mucas for 3 weeks, I even coughed up a small amount of blood. I was able to work after the headache, but i was rela weak for a while.

First year without a flu shot in a long time. It resulted in the damn virus, had it for a month and a bit. Coldfx was my best friend during the whole ordeal.

My sister got that too and she coughed non-stop for like 2-3 weeks. Doctors basically said you have to cough all the crap up until its gone and it won't go away until you do. Luckily she didn't get it until after the Holidays so I wasn't there to get it.

Recently I've been feeling some symptoms and it's kind of been on and off. I'm hoping it'll stay away now. Crazy weather hasn't helped though.

This year has been crazy, especially around here... Almost everyone in my office has been sick at one point or another. My mother had the flu three weeks ago, then my 4 year old had it the week after... My 8 year old got it the beginning part of last week, and then my wife got the worst of it; she came down with pneumonia from it. I'm still surprised I haven't gotten it... There were times I felt as though I was beginning to get something, but it would always pass.
