My opponent, SPTO, has chosen to liken himself to Mayor McCheese, seeking no doubt to play to the fond childhood memories of his would-be supporters. However, I'm here to remind the undecideds that not everything was wine and roses back when you and I were children. Therefore I submit to you Exhibit A - the damning textual description of Mayor McCheese found at Wikipedia.

Mayor McCheese has an enormous cheeseburger for a head, and sports a top hat, a diplomat's sash, and a pair of pince-nez spectacles. He is portrayed as a giggly, bumbling, somewhat incompetent mayor with a wavering, high-pitched voice that is reminiscent to that of comic actor Ed Wynn. The character was dropped during the streamlining of the characters in the '80s.

I have kindly highlighted the relevant portions of the article in bold for those of you with short attention spans. This is the model of mayoral stewardship to which my opponent aspires? This is the kind of empty rhetoric that has won your votes? A leader so inept, so incompetant that he was, in essence, impeached and cast out of McDonaldland during a thinly-veiled "streamlining" effort?

I point you to my official campaign video, which may be found in post 16 of this thread. I believe I can make no clearer distinction between that video and Mayor ****ing McCheese that I have already made. The choice is yours.

It has come to my attention that the Skerik campaign has made some disparaging remarks about the character in which the SPTO campaign strives to emulate. Yes, Mayor McCheese was bumbling and incompetent but that did not impede against the money making colossus that is McDonalds. In fact, one could say that Mayor McCheese was an endearing and lovable oaf who was not afraid to be laughed at while behind the public facade was in actuality a shrewd political figure. After all, Ronald McDonald and the Mickey Ds empire didn't start getting bombarded with lawsuits and criticism for the fattening food 'til the 1990s. Obviously Mayor McCheese protected McDonalds from various lawsuits.

In other news the SPTO campaign would like to announce it's own theme song that expresses what ideological base for which the campaign is founded upon.

This primary is absolute war compared to that other massacre. Either one of the top three could get the boot. And it looks like Rainey, barring some sort of miracle, is down for the count.
