    Write your own proverbs

I've got a project for school where we have to create and illustrate our own proverbs. I usually don't come to OS for homework help but I can't think of anything and was hoping you guys could help me out. Thanks in advance.

              Re: Write your own proverbs

I've already put it on another thread (the quotes thread), and it's something I made up:
"When you're young you're amazed time after time by things u can do. When you're old you're amazed time after time by things u can no longer do".
Do u need to illustrate this? I mean, make an illustration on paper? If u do it's not hard, just make illustrations of typical young man next to a typical old man, each of them doing something typical.
              Good luck!
              My Specs:

              ZX Spectrum
              CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
              GPU: Monochrome display
              RAM: 48 KB
              OS: Sinclair BASIC

                    Re: Write your own proverbs

I had a motivational speaker tell me this today (He said he mentored Greg Oden)

"If you do not conquer fear, fear will conquer you"

And he made an acronym from the letters FEAR and talked about how people just try to fit into people that are around them sometimes and not do the right think and tied into courage it was a really good speech.
