I honestly wish I chose a different major. I cannot stand listening to Political Science professors who shove their beliefs down my throat. If I have to hear one more time about how *presidential candidate* is going to "save America," I will vomit.
Education as a whole in this country is pathetic. The whole point of education is to open the minds of the students, and teach them how to think. Yet, the vast majority of educators decide to only teach the students what to think. I think George Bernard Shaw said it best: "My schooling not only failed to teach me what it professed to be teaching, but prevented me from being educated to an extent which infuriates me when I think of all I might have learned at home by myself."
I would love to just drop out of school and be done with all the nonsense. However, I know that without a degree, I will never find a career that would be worthwhile.
Edit: I also like this quote.."A child educated only at school is an uneducated child." - George Santayana
