Snow is here...and won't go away!
Jeeze, here in Rochester, right when the snow is melting and it's warming up (mid-40s yesterday), it decides to snow a great deal last night. My first baseball game is Wednesday, and if this continues, it'll probably be cancelled (which sucks). Two years ago I remember going outside to practice within the first week of March, this year we've gone out twice for about a half hour each.

You SOB!
We had a dusting of snow a few days ago but it melted away. I think the last of the significant snowfall has passed so in that regard i'm happy. Unfortunately Environment Canada is predicting a below seasonal temperature until May "sigh".Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Snow is here...and won't go away!
Yesterday we broke the record for total snowfall here:
Record breaking snows
2.8" was the official total of today's storm in Concord. That now puts us at 115.2" of snow for the winter season. That has us with highest snowfall in a winter season in well over 100 years and it's only the third time we've reached 100" since 1900!
ALL TIME records: We are now in 2nd place for Concord, and still counting!
1) 1873-74 122.0"
2) 2007-08 115.2"
3) 1872-73 115.0"
4) 1995-96 113.2"
5) 1886-87* 111.0"
6) 1887-88* 111.0"

No offense...but I wouldn't live where you live if you paid me to. Is it as dangerous over there as the American TV news makes it out to be?Comment

Re: Snow is here...and won't go away!
Not gonna take it into politics or something...Anyway, there are some dangerous places, but 90% of the country is as safe as it can be. Believe me that the chance of terror attack happening in the NYC subway is much higher. And remember that TV usually creates a different image than the reality itself. If I only knew about the US what I see on TV, I would have thought that every1 in the US is rich, works at an advertising agency and has a pool. But that's not the issue here, so let's stop here. All I'm saying is that in my country we have about 4-5 months with 90-95 and the typical winter wouldn't even considered as fall in the average eastern American city.My Specs:
