Anyone else do any "themed" iTunes playlists?

I always like to have a playlist of acoustic songs, one of piano-heavy songs, "best of's" of my favorite artists that don't have "best of's," etc.

I'm just putting together a nighttime playlist entitled "Here's to the Night," a reference to the Eve-6 song, which is, of course, on the playlist. I used to have one on my old iPod, but I lost it. The nighttime playlist was always one of my favorites to have. It's just full of mostly low-key songs that you can just chill out to when you're getting ready for bed or are sitting up with buddies at 4 in the morning after a crazy night. Here's my tracklist:

Fever Dream - Iron and Wine
Southside - Lloyd Banks feat. Ashanti
A Modern Myth - 30 Seconds To Mars
Amazing Because It Is - The Almost
    Boston - Augustana
18th Floor Balcony - Blue October
Soco Amaretto Lime - Brand New
No Seatbelt Song - Brand New
    Inflatable - Bush
    Drive - Cars
Sam Malone - City And Colour
Happiness By The Kilowatt - City and Colour
Hello, I'm In Delaware - City and Colour
    Fix You - Coldplay
    Colorblind - Counting Crows
    Dreams - Cranberries
    9 Crimes - Damien Rice
    Stolen - Dashboard Confessional
Crash Into Me - Dave Matthews Band
I Will Follow You into the Dark - Death Cab For Cutie
    Hero - Enrique Iglesias
    Here's To The Night - Eve 6
Your Hand In Mine (Goodbye) - Explosions In The Sky
Walking After You - Foo Fighters
    Collide - Howie Day
Sea And The Rhythm - Iron and Wine
The Little Things Give You Away - Linkin Park
    3 AM (Piano) - Matchbox 20
The Needle And The Damage Done - Neil Young
Over And Over Again - Nelly (Featuring Tim McGraw)
In The Air Tonight - Phil Collins
    There There - Radiohead
Lost Without You - Robin Thicke
    Wonderwall (cover) - Ryan Adams
    Closing Time - Semisonic
The Nothing Song - Sigur Ros
    Vaka - Sigur Ros
    Run - Snow Patrol
    Grazed Knees - Snow Patrol
An Olive Grove Facing the Sea - Snow Patrol
    Konstantine - Something Corporate
Punk Rock Princess (Piano) - Something Corporate
existentialism on prom night - Straylight Run
    December Sky - Sundown
Your Own Disaster - Taking Back Sunday
Cute Without the E(acoustic) - Taking Back Sunday
Running From The Rain - Thursday
    A Hole in the World(Acoustic) - Thursday
    Nice and Slow - Usher
    One Headlight - Wallflowers

Anyone else do any interesting playlists? Or is it just me?

Yeah, I do that as well. I've got one specifically for parties, one with just acoustic stuff, one with recent(usually d/l within the last month) iTunes downloads, different genres, one for working out, several good mood playlists, etc.

I've got 14 total playlists. Probably need to trim it down lol.

If "These are the songs I've been listening to lately, and I'm too lazy to keep switchin' artists so I'm going to combine them all into one playlist" counts as a theme, then...

      ...yup.

          I really need to...

God it would be amazingly embarassing if anyone other than me picked "Shuffle" for all my songs lol...

I have a "Chill Playlist" which mainly consists of stuff I like that isn't too loud. Not to say it's all acoustic or whatever though, I've got some stuff by Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Steppenwolf, and Deep Purple in there, among others. Basically it's a playlist I throw on when doing work that won't distract me too much.

Also I have a "Guitar Hero / Rock Band" playlist... ...yeah.

              I have:
              - "Cover Songs" (255 songs strong....what can I say, cover songs interest me)
              - "Guitar Hero/Rock Band" (96 songs)
              - "Party Material" (64 songs...needs updating)
              - Top 100 (based on my opinions at the moment)
