Ok I've been watching both shows when I get the chance and both shows have thier qualities. But IMO Iron Ring is not where I think it should be. Celebs + Fight Club should be a success but they just seem like cheap knockoffs of MMA fighting it looks too wild and uncontrolled I can't tell who is on what team why they are fighting and what they get for a win/loss. It like ok random guy A fights random guy B in same weight class. lather, rinse, repeat...add a broken face or two and some guys w/o heart for some emotional attachment and comic relief (that doesn't really catch IMHO) and you have that show.
On the other hand Ultimate Fighter has a objective and sticks to it. Present some future UFC hopefuls and some opportunity and let them slug it out and show the progress they make in order to chase that dream. Some good character development, a connection to the fighters and the actual matches. And it just seems more polished
