    April 16, 2007 - One year later

    It's been one year since the shootings at Tech.

      I really can't believe it's been a year. I still remember exactly what I was doing when I heard about the shootings.

                                  I was in P.E. when I first heard it. At the time, it was only in the teens. By the end of the day I heard like 25 were dead. Then it was over 30. I really didn't think about it that much but it really hit me a couple days later.

                                              Local sports radio guy down here used to sign off saying "Tell someone you love, you love them today. You never know what's around the next corner."

                                                  Hard to believe that it's already been a year myself. I remember about to get off the bus after school, and my bus driver told me about what happened at VT and she was about to cry. I had to rush home just so I could see what had happened. Very sad and I will never forget what a senseless act that was.
