... I basically threatened to beat the **** out of the kid who had the "in" to the party.

It was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

He's the most negative kid you'd ever meet. Everything is "that sucks" or "this is stupid" or "Why do they do that?" or some stuff. He does it constantly, and it always irked me. I knew it would happen one day and it finally did.

Earlier in the night we were pre-gaming it... playing some 'Pong, and he knocked over one of the cups all over our(me and my two roommates... not the kid) kitchen floor.... of course, he didn't lift a finger to help clean up the mess. Then when I mentioned something about the Spring football games this weekend and how Ohio State doesn't make a big deal out of the weekend like Penn State does (we have a big carnival and concerts and stuff), he said "that's cuz Ohio State is gay"... now, sure, that may be funny to some. But if you knew the kid, you would know he was 100% serious.

So about 1/2 hour later, he said something that just threw me over the edge...

"All PSU sports suck."

What an uninformed statement. Need I remind him of our Nat'l Championship Women's Volleyball team? How about Women's Rugby? Or men's and women's fencing? And how about our Football team that has won at least 9 games the last three years, including an orange bowl? Granted, rugby and fencing aren't necessarily popular, but still...

So I got pissed off at him and said something... I don't really remember what... but it was personal. I'm sure it was somethign like "You're an F-ing idiot"... and he got all serious and was like "blah blah blah what I'm just telling the truth..."

So I got up in his face... keep in mind, I'm about 5'5'' and he's about 5'10''... so I was on my tippy toes... hahaha... I just told him how he's always so negative and that I can't take it anymore. So he said some stuff back to me, and I told him to "get out of my f-ing apartment." So he stood at the door holding on to my shirt for about 30 seconds.

"GET OUT!" I said.
"Ok, I'm going," he said as he kept him gung-foo grip on my shirt. Finally he let go and left, and I slammed the door shut.

So now I can't go to the party that he wanted me and my friends to go to. They went... I told them to. I felt bad because I didn't want to ruin the night for everyone.


The kid makes me so mad... I can't take it. I'm a "glass half full" kind of guy, and he brings all that negativity around. I just couldn't take it anymore, and that was the last straw.

Ugh.


I just had to vent.

Anyone know anyone like this? Or experience a situation like this?

Yeah, BU's pretty solid when it comes to that, but it being in town is way too close for me. There's a huge *** block party tomorrow, but I'm not about to go down there, it's an underage waiting to happen.

All this for saying PSU sucks, truth hurts. OH well, I wouldn't get so mad over things like this. This guy seems like a jerk, but to get mad over this is not right. Was there beer involved? I didn't know PSU had won the Women Volleyball, that is great.
