    The Electric Slide

    Does anyone here NOT know this dance?
    someone told me they never heard of it and I was bewildered...man I dont think ive been to a wedding were this dance hasnt been done...especially by the old folks....

    I hate the Electric Slide. I told my wife that it was the only song at our wedding that I would not dance to. I won't do the Casper Slide either, but I don't mind it as much as the Electric Slide.

    And yes, anyone who has not heard of the Electric Slide must never have been to a wedding before.

        LOL, that's my mother's main dance. The only songs she danced at my wedding were the traditional groom's dance with the mother, and the Electric Slide. One wedding we went to afterwards, she tried that cha-cha slide, but it went too fast for her, and she went and sat down.

        SMH at that rhythically-challenged broad needing to have the Electric Slide choreographed for her... Everyone I've known just picked it up on GP.

            I've seen and heard the Electric Slide but never done it. My family's into soca music so we're shaking our butts all over the damn place.
