    Infiniti G35

I plan picking up a lightly used 2005-2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe within the next week as I will be completing school and starting my job. I was just wondering if there was anyone on this board who has one and what they can tell me about it.

A few specific questions I have:

    1) How is the Bose sound system (if you have the upgrade)? I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile, but I definitely notice the difference between a crappy 1992 stock audio system and a good one. I just want a good sounding system, it doesn't have to be mindblowingly good.

    2) Anyone who drives in snow/heavy rain, will I be OK with snow tires? I'm a pretty safe driver in the snow, but I've had a front-wheel drive car all my life until now, so I'm not sure how different this car will be.

    3) Any major gripes with the car that I might not be able to find out from dealers and ads?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Well I drive a 99' Infiniti G20 (it's the 4 cylinder version of a g35)

    1. I'm thouroughly impressed with the Bose sound system, my friends say that it's like having mini subs in your car, the quality is mint and they can bump a little bit.

    2. Yes, although my old brakes where a problem in the snow (I have new brakes now) the g20 did just fine in the snow so im assuming a g35 will be perfectly fine.

    3. Besides the cup holders being crap in my g20 (cups fall out of the front cupholder all the time so I don't use it, I have to use the ones in the back for holding cups.) I really have no problems with it, leather heated seats, moon roof, and such is always nice.
18-1 hell of a season regardless

I just bought the 2008 G35. Bose Sounds good, no major gripes. If you are getting the 4 door try to get the one with the 306 HP engine. I don't know what year they started putting that one in, I think it was 2007. Big difference in how it drives and the older ones drive. I drove a 2005 that was a loaner from the dealer when I got an oil change, and really didn't like the car.
