I don't see how it could hurt a relationship.

If you would seriously let facebook or Myspace hurt your relationship then you're a punk and don't deserve being in a relationship.

I mean, really, that's just pathetic.

I was walking down the street two days ago and I heard some girl get all pissed off because some other chic put up pictures of her on her MySpace. "I'm gonna beat her face in."

I was like, "wow! It's Myspace. Get over yourself."

Yes, I do believe in putting my relationship status on myspace which is married. I'm on myspace strictly for friends.

Well in all honestly, Facebook/Myspace is used by many for attempting to date/hook up...so if you're in a relationship and you're listing yourself as single on MySpace/Facebook...I can see why someone would be slightly suspicious.

I've heard many stories of people cheating through the means of MySpace/Facebook. If you're secure with your relationship you should have nothing to hide. And if you're not that secure with you're relationship, then you shouldn't be in the relationship.

Now being annoyed because someone isn't leaving comments or writing on your wall...that's just plain stupid. If you're in a relationship I'd hope you're communicating with one another enough verbally that you don't need to leave some stupid "comments" on one another's "wall."

Yea, the wall thing is dumb.

I understand if this guy is stressed because his girl complains that he doesn't write on her wall. I don't understand the fascination with needing a bunch of wall posts and a bunch of friends.

My girlfriend and I avoid any of that conflict. We've actually decided to see each other in person and go out. Tell him he should tell his girlfriend to do the same with him.

Nah thats the thing. He doesn't have SINGLE listed. He just doesn't have ANYTHING there. So it doesn't even show up on his page. Relationship status that is.

It is funny to me because she is SERIOUSLY trippin off of it.

Yea the WALL thing is dumb as hell. - You know how people want to have that sense of ownership to the public though

I didn't put it up the three "relationships" I've had this year, but if I was to ever get into a serious one...yeah, I would.

I remember my professor telling me this story about his girl friend (not girlfriend) learning about her boyfriend breaking up with her by seeing that he changed his MySpace status to "Single".

I don't know whose problem this is personally, but I'm pointing my finger at the guy. If he has to resort to MySpace as being the way to break up, especially if it's not directly through message or comment, and instead through a status update... I just seriously think his MySpace privileges should be banned for a while. Yes, I'm putting a 28 year old on timeout.

Time for her to go, if she can't handle that, she is too insecure to even try to have any type of relationship.
