I actually find take-off and landing quite fun. I like the weird feeling it gives you and watching everything get smaller is neat.

What type of planes are you flying in? Anything with a jet engine isn't going to be bumpy unless there is bad weather. Takeoff is nothing,I hardly feel anything. Landing can be bumpy if it is cloudy, but other than that, you usually only feel them slowing down and speeding up.

Nothing to do with bumping at all, I know what thats like going over the Rockies every year. Takeoff and landing for anyone new will not be "normal", takeoff you definitley notice going nose up and landing is never perfect every time.

Best part of the flight really, be really cool if the floor was clear so you could look down

I'm afraid of heigths, that would probably kill me, especially over open water.

It is cool though when you get closer and closer and everything gets bigger and bigger, especially after a long flight. It was really cool flying into Rome sweeping around Corsica and Sardinia how we did, and then when you start to get lower you can see all the yachts and boats in the sea, pretty cool.

Don't fart on the plane. The other passengers get pretty upset, especially if its a small plane.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

If I fly I always try to get like a 7 or 8 am flight. I flew to Lubbock from Dallas in 06 the Saturday of the UT/TT game. Got through security in 15 minutes.

It was a fun flight to. About 2/3 full so you didnt have to sit right next to anyone, and everyone on the flight was going to the game.

Weird story no one will care about. I sat right in front of a guy on the plane that I would end up meeting at the same tailgate party.

Try to sit in the emergency exit row. More legroom.

You arent going to crash. Turbulence is standard and feels really bad, but nothing is going to happen. The most dangerous part of flying is the drive to the airport.

Related story: My flight from Atlanta to Amsterdam Schiphol a week ago was the best one I've ever taken. Free Heinekens and an individual screen where I had about 100 movies and TV shows at my disposal, plus games (even chess and such against other passengers). Fly royal dutch airlines if you get a chance.
