Thats an absolute steal, Canon cameras are the best on the market hands down, nothing comes close other then a few Nikon SLR's and maybe a couple high end Sony cameras but other then that Canon is by far the best. I would imagine you got the deal because its an older model but even still, those pictures really show the capability of Canon products. I tell my folks time and time again that they need to ditch the entry level Kodak cameras and go with Canon, I cant say enough good things about them as a brand, and those pictures are flawless imo, very nice.

This is also a great website for any info on cameras prior to purchase, it will truthfully give advice, point out the positives and negatives when they are there and the reviewers are hardcore photographers who look for things the normal people may not know to look for, its a deeply resourceful website imo. Prior to working at Best Buy I knew nothing about digital cameras, didnt even own one, but I literally used nothing but this website for study purposes and it made everything easier, there really is a plethora of information there to be had.
