Me too, before I got married. In my neigborhood there are 4 couples that I know of that swing and probably more. Most of the couples have been married longer than me, so I guess once you've been married a while you want to "expand your horizons". I don't think I'm mature enough to do it yet.

I just thought it was funny that you used the word "mature" in that situation.

Any real mature adult wouldn't thinking about swinging, but that's just my opinion. To me, regardless of it be consensual, would still be cheating.

Otherwise, what's the effing point in being married?

(The non-moderator response) Maturity is suppose to increase with age. In many minds in accordance to marriage, swinging is definitely not mature seeing that it's blatant consentual cheating. Basically a mask for cheating in these days and times. Just slightly ironic seeing the remark:

Gotcha, I never thought about it until my wife and I were propostioned, more than anything I find it interesting the amount of couples that do this. I used the term mature with a bit of sarcasm, because it seems as if it's the older couples that do it mostly.

i agree why get married if your going to be a swinger?

I dont know if it's technically considered swinging but one night in Vegas a couple years back I struck up a friendly conversation with a couple from Louisiana at a pai-gow poker table. After god knows how many drinks and shots we had we were all laughing like old high school friends. We were at the table for what seemed like forever but was most likley around 5-6 hours. A couple hours into I was getting this weird vibe from the wife, rubbing my leg and whatnot. More time passed, more drinks were consumed, and more flirting was going on (her with me, not the other way around). Had I been sober, I would have been pretty uncomfortable but since I was hammered and doing well at the table I just rolled with it. Finally, I had to get up and leave (not because of the flirting but because I thought I was going to pass out at the table and get kicked out of the casino). Before I left the husband shook my hand and the wife gave me a kiss and whispered , "Would you like to come back to our room with us?"....This sobered me up really quick. I turned down the offer and stumbled back to my to pass out. I would have definately banged the wife but I didn't know what the husband was gonna do since I don't get down like that.

I did see them the next night which was kind of akward but I just played it off like nothing happened.
