as this Memorial Day comes to a close I would like to say Thank You to the men and women who are serving our country, who have served our country, and most all, those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country and the families that had to endure the pain.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

A very special thanks to all OS members who have served and who are currently serving. Also, extend this message of thanks to any of your parents or siblings.

Today was a great day for me. My father celebrated his 85th birthday with a surprise party my brothers and I threw for him at his home. He also happens to be a WWII veteran who served in both the Pacific and European theatres with the U.S Navy. I'm proud if him as well as all veterans of today, yesterday and tomorrow.

          God Bless you all.

Remember why we take notice of this weekend while you are firing up the grills and opening up the pools. It's not about America, it's not about Veterans, it's about remembering brave men and women who paid the price for freedom. Take some time to think about the ultimate sacrifice some made in order to keep our freedoms. No matter what side of the political isle you sit on, we can all come together and pay respect to those who didn't care about political or social agendas, they only cared about the men and women beside them and their countrymen at home. Be safe and always remember.

"The greatest glory of a free-born people is to transmit that freedom to their children."
