Bill Belichick is my neighbor

His hotel room is next door, he walked right past me and I did not know what to say. I guess Belicheat would be inappropriate, any suggestions.

The last thing the guy wants is poor pub. Just be courteous (extremely). Depending on how young/old you are, it wouldn't even be too bad to say, "Hi, Mr. Belichick." I've been passing by Tony Gwynn a lot here at SDSU, and there are times where I'll call him "Coach," or just "Mr. Gwynn." I always give him a handshake every time, too.

Don't be disrespectful, no matter what you think of the guy. It's the offseason, and he's out in public. He's just a regular person.

If you don't say anything passing by him, you can always acknowledge him with a head nod. Not the upward, familiar kind... but the downward, formal kind.

I wouldn't be disrespectful to him, from what I hear talking to the employees here, he's a real down to earth guy. I was too much in awe to make a comment anyhow, in a stadium that's a different story though.

We are both at the Marriot is Towson MD, his room is right next door. He was probably listening to me and my wife humping last night. Apparently his kid is in a lacrosse tournament.
