    Re: Best Friend Problems

I have four guys I would call best friends and we have never fought or anything. I had a best friend about Jr year of high school until a year or two out of high school. He started hanging around a crowd I didn't want to be around and doing drugs etc, so we just drifted away.

Thing with me and my best friend is, we've never had any, and I mean any bit of arguing or fighting. That's the funny thing.

Nah, it's well established that real men have bros (Bro Code), and need wingmen...Instead he'd come in here like "I bet this ish is all over a girl...real men don't let women get in the way. Besides, women are like Pokemon, try and collect 'em all!"

            Re: Best Friend Problems

I'm having BF problems of my own right now as well. Over the 4th, my best friend and his girl were over at my house for my BBQ. Now his girl, is a straight up bitch. That is how it is. I've told him several times to just break it up with her but he goes on constantly with the whole I'll explain to her and give her another chance.

Anyway, she comes over and complains about everything; in a way disses my girl's cooking. Whatever though, I don't think much of it.

Later on, we're in a little group and my GF asks her how her job is going. At this point she just turns and walks away and my friend answers for her. At this point I pretty much yell out why does your GF have to be a bitch. Then I told him to take her and leave among some other words.

He called me today saying I need to aplogize to his girl. I refuse to do so and I see nothing I did wrong. I just told it how it is. She came here and disrespected everyone.

He should apologize to you. Ask him how he'd feel if your gal treated his like that?

Guys who change for chicks are sad. One of my best friends lost his manhood once he got married and it's a sad sight to see over time.

                  Seriously.

That is what I told him and he is like, I don't see the big deal which I'm sure he does. Just at this point I wouldn't be surprised if I was on speaker phone with his girl near by. What makes it worse that this girl is just in the high school mindset still at the age of 24. When we went somewhere before, he had to take a important call instead of helping her with something minor that could have waited and she just said nothing for the rest of the day. Than later he told me she threw his ring on the floor and called it off. Some how they are still back.

No you didn't do anything wrong. I would've done the same exact thing. If you want to act like a bitch be ready to be treated like one. Your girl sounds like she was just being polite and making small talk and had no right to be treated like that. Your friend has some damn nerve to ask you to apologize. He sounds like one of of those guys who is so blinded by "love" that he can't even see what's actually going on in reality. I really hate unnecessary drama.

That's what it is exactly. This thing goes deep though so I won't list all the details. But it goes so deep you can't write some of this stuff on TV. When it comes to this girl, this dude pretty much lives in some MTV show.

I'm going to probably talk to him later tonight for a little "sit down." We'll see how it goes.

Yeah same. It's just this creeping feeling of, "Is this guy still my best friend?" Best friends you should always want to be around, but I find myself avoiding him at times.

Oh God, ain't that the truth. Luckily, none of my friends are too whipped and neither am I so it hasn't been a problem between us.

On a strange note, I just received a call from the stabee and his best friend asking me why we don't hang out anymore.

I gave the awkward question look to the phone, but realized after a few seconds that they couldn't see me because we were talking on a phone and you can't see the person on the other end. Unless it's the Jetsons, but we clearly are not the Jetsons.

I think things are coming up again. People are back from college so we're all together again. I've been around my "best friend" (and other friends) the last few nights and it's pretty obvious how much I hate who he has become. I don't have a problem like this with anyone else, the kid has just turned into an absolute dick. He wants to be all buddy-buddy sometimes, then just like that he'll be an obnoxious ******* a second later. I'm done with that bull****.

I don't feel bad about it at all though. We've all changed since we've become friends, but none as much and as badly as he has. I consider myself a pretty good friend to all of my friends. I wouldn't be surprised to see him crawling back to me but I'm gonna just tell him it's over (haha, sounds gay). I can't put up with the friend one second then ******* a minute later crap anymore.

It's going to be tough because I suck in confrontations and stuff, but it's got to be done for the better. No more running from it...
