    Free virus programs?

    other than AVG...are there any decent programs out there? I'm using avast, & it seems the damn thing scans continuously!

      avast is the best...i have the full version but my friend has the free one and i don't know what the difference is.

              Just switched to PCTools and I run A2 from time to time. Jury is still out on PCTools, but even if I switch, I'm going to use A2 for malware detection (sort of like running it intermittently like Ad-Aware and the PC Optimizer program I bought from PCPitstop.com)
