LOL I guess something had caused all of the blown up balloons to pop, so from what I understand people were FREAKING OUT.

And Dre naw not the Long Beach Town Center WalMart, I have another one right across the street from my house. What's funny though is that they are both on the same street [Carson St.] they're everywhere SMH.

Yeah....no natural disasters here.....just *******s trying to kill thousands at a time....so I guess it's just the man made disasters we have to worry about.

My brother lives in L.A. Hollywood Hills actually(that's L.A. right?).....was there much damage? I'm watching CNN now and it doesn't look too bad.
I hope all is well there.

I felt it here in San Diego. Pretty nice to wake up to an earthquake.

Hollywood is considered Los Angeles I guess but it really wasnt that bad. Of course the media blew it out of proportion, except the epicenter area. Now they felt it pretty hard but as I said, Chino is a nice enough drive away to not be around the corner.

Not much damage anywhere, but TO you gotta experience one for yourself to actually see and know what its like.

I felt a small shaking here in San Diego (El Cajon to be exact) for 8-10 seconds. I was hoping nothing big would happen and I'm thankful to God that nothing did.

To be honest it had completely slipped my mind that we had an earthquake until I saw this thread. It was a roller at the beach - pretty decent if it was centered in Chino Hills which is about 40+ miles to east.

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips had a funny quote, he said "Is that an earthquake? I thought it was just Leonard Davis walking by".

...they are training in Oxnard and felt the earthquake. Supposedly, the first earthquake for a Cowboys camp in California. That is saying something considering they trained in nearby Thousand Oaks for 27 years under Tom Landry. You would think it would have happened before. I lived in Palm Springs for only 2 years and went through a few earthquakes.
