Broken 46" LCD TV Please HELP

Well, my 6 year old daughter accidently threw something that broke my 46" LCD Samsung TV. (Looks like spider webs from the point of impact)


Now when I purchased the TV I was told if I purchase the Advantage Plan Warranty that I could throw football through the screen and they would replace it.

Now I try to use that and they are telling me that it does not cover accidental damage. No where in the warranty package does it clearly state it does not cover accidental damage.

I would not have bought the TV if the salesman did not tell me about the warranty he even used my kids as an example!!! I went to the store and they told me to call the warranty #, that is where they told me they can not help and they could only refund the $300.00 warranty Arghhhhhh...



I bought the TV in April @ Circuit City

So what should I do????

Side note: 1st place I though of complaing/venting was here at OS. Great community that I'm proud to be a part of.

That sucks man. I guess call the place and see what they say. If not, try to find your receipt and raise hell for the salesperson who lied.

Funny thing is I bought my TV at Circuit City and the salesperson told me the warranty covered everything even accidents.
