My first date with mywife, she stood me up. We were supposed to go to a comics show with some people from ComicView. i got to her house and her step dad told me she had gone to some local fair with her mom.

Eventually though we made it to a regular dinner and a movie type thing. I think we went to go see American Beauty.

That is amusing. My wife was like 2 hours late for our first date, she was coming up southern Vermont. For our second date she was 3 hours late because she zoned out and got on I-91 instead of I-89 (very easy to make that mistake where she was).

Its been a minute since I've had a steady GF, lately I've just been messing with alot of jumpoffs.

I met my last gf on myspace though. We went out for about a year and a half. Our first "date" was great for me. I was planning on kicking it with some other chick I was talking to from myspace (I was heavy on the internet macking back then ) but she cancelled. So I called my soon to be ex-gf as a backup plan and went to her house to pick her up. Our date consisted of me picking up some Hennessey and coming back to my house to watch All-Star Saturday night. I forget what year it was, but it was the year that Josh Smith won and had on the Nique throwback jersey.

She was real cool though and knew alot about hoops. I knew she was gonna be apart of my life for awhile because after the AS festivities, we went to my room to get down to business but I was so drunk I couldn't get it up. It didn't faze her one bit, and she wasn't even mad I was too messed up to take her home. After trying to "help me out" for about 30 mins, she just went to sleep next to me. When I woke up the next day, things were different though. :wink: She even made me breakfast in bed. Cool chick.

I can't lie. I was pretty heated about it. I had went out and got the new fit, new Air Force 1's, haircut was tight, plus had spent all that money on those tickets. Good seats too, like 5th row, just a tiny bit off center. I felt kind of lame sitting there at the show by myself too; yes I still went. Ricky Smiley was funny as hell though.



EDIT: Maaaaaan, I just asked her again why she stood me up, she said it was because she was nervous because it was her first date. Back then, when I FIRST asked her what happened, she told me it was because she forgot. Man, she probably didn't even go to the fair; she was probably up in her room, listening to her step daddy feed me that crap. I don't even know what to believe anymore lol.

When I first read this line, I thought of that scene from "Don't Be A Menace to South Central" when Ashtray was telling his pops how he lost his virginity lol.

But yea, the first date I went on with my GF(now my ex)she invited to this big *** cookout at her Uncle house with literally EVERY member of her family there. Mind you I had never met anybody in her family, other than her cousin who went to school with us, before so you already know I was nervous as almighty hell to try to make a move on her lol. We had just started SERIOUSLY dating like a few days prior(she decided to wait until the last few days of school to tell me she had a crush on me lol)Had fun out there though. They played music, played a few Domino games out there, food was on point as well. Right when I tried to kiss her, her damn loud mouth little sister rolls up on us yelling out,"Mommmmm, C****** over trying to kiss her friend". Had to break with the quickness. But when I got to her cousin's car, then I finally had her to myself.

We didn't do too much like I had wanted to, but that changed the next day.

We didn't last too long, broke up 2 months later and nowadays we don't even speak one word to each other.(Tried calling her to find out what was the deal with us not speaking but never got in contact with her)

It was a blind date for me and I was very pleased when I saw her for the first time in the lobby of the restaurant. We got along real well over dinner and both decided we would get together again. I felt right away that there was potential for something long term.
We were living together by that summer. Six months after we met I took her back to Morgan Gentrys and proposed.
July 30th was our 14th wedding anniversary.

Watched Happy Feet. We both came off breakups with our exes, both our relationships lasted more than a year and just wanted to talk.

But its been goin good. I knew she was mad in love with me when we first met. And im being dead serious. Everyone knew that she was in love with me and were just waiting for me to ask her out.
