1) Can't ball w/o the roster and draft class downloads shared by the community

2) Slider talk and sim engine fixes, workaround stuff, etc.

3) OS Nieghborhood and Entertainment and Technology Forums kill time at work and at home and never cease to provide boatloads of forwardable content (youtube clips, wacky news bits). It's a pop culture 'one stop'.

4) Steered me away (so far) from buying a PS3...I've yet to read anything here that makes that purchase neccesary (for me).

Specifically: I was turned on to 2k Basketball here, The Show (Classic Pitching), NFL 2k5, 'The Manifesto' for Madden 2005, "Chocloate Rain" by Tay Zonday, "Rickrolling" and much much more...

And I made a few Madden sim engine / slider buddies in the process...

Great stuff!!!

I first came here when I googled something and it had a link to os in it. Since you couldn't view the forums at the time I signed up and found rosters and quality posters. I come on here every day to find great opinions and devs that will answer questions and because this site is awesome. Also love laughing at all the dc threads about women.

Basically I'm here because there's some similarity between myself and the other fellas here. I mean, really, what do we have in common with our siblings? We have the same parents and maybe we lived together for a while. Aside from that, it's happenstance! Here, I have in common video games, sports, maleness ... you know the list. I like it here because I'm among guys with similar interests. Simple enough, no? Y'all my brothas!

I came here back in the days of 2003 looking for NHL 2k sliders. Found some people that shared a love of the sports gaming more than I did, and found that people treated me with respect. Plus the boards weren't full of blah blah blah and 13 year old hax0rs.


I do love this place. I have seen it grow in the past 5 years.

Here's to me seeing it grow the next five and continue to get better
