I'm really late on this but congrats! Since you'll be working 3rd shift I suggest you bring a book with you to work. You may be doing a lot of reading

Not slamming you but damn man, Id be pissed if i went to college, got a degree, then had to resort to working at a donut shop.

We haven't talked pay yet. In my situation, Im just glad to have employment. We need the money whatever it is.

I don't plan on doing this for ever. I am going to continue to look for opportunities. The job market in Ohio is bad, and I mean very very bad. It pretty much gets worse everyday. My best friend who has a degree in journalism is selling phones for sprint. His wife who has a degree in teaching works as a secretary, my wife who has a degree in culinary arts, is an office worker. Its bad here man. But like I said Im just happy to have a job.

I knew the situation in Ohio is bad but not THIS bad. The rust belt states are getting hit like hell. Even Ontario here in Canada is starting to feel the pinch as much of the economy here is industrial as well.

At least you have something that's keeping you afloat.
