Anyone know of any good resume tips/guidelines?

I'm planning on applying for a big internship soon (with the Big Ten Network), and I need to pull together a resume to submit. I really haven't done a full fledged resume yet.

Does anyone know of any good resources with some examples and guidelines? I've found some stuff online, but I'm looking for anything I can get from reliable sources.

I'm not sure whether to include things like my job at an on-campus eatery when applying for an internship in communications. Also, I don't know if it'd be approriate to include awards I won in high school (U.S. Marines Distinguished Athlete Award, Honor Roll, etc.) when I'm 2 years removed from that education.

I'd appreciate any help and any resources anyone has. Thanks.

I would include the awards from high school, but not honor roll unless it has some other scholarly title. You could put your high school GPA though. Under your college education, put your GPA, any clubs/organizations that you are in, and your graduation year. For jobs I would put the last 3 you've had. Keep it to 1 page, you want to get them interested in you, but you can supply all the details in the interview.
