This is sad. EA delivers another mediocre (if not poor) product expecting to come in here and do more PR for all these "85 features" in the game, and then they catch feelings because we call them on it? They go crying to the mods that they were insulted?? Who insulted them in the previous thread? From what I saw, guys called them on these ****ty so called online leagues, but there were no personal attacks. Some guys even offered some suggestions. Were those attacks too?? This is ridiculous. If we can't offer constructive criticism and even vent a little on a supposedly third party message board, where are we supposed to do it? I'm sure they aren't looking for or even listening to any negative critique on easports.com.
Is it a glowing endorsement of EA and the Madden franchise...no, but it also isn't a personal attack on any of the devs. I sent a pm to the moderators who banned me explaining this and no response.
I'd like to know what all of yall think? I have recently seen more and more threads and posts related to "Super Mods" deleting any post or thread that doesn't gush all over a game (this seems to be most pervasive on NCAA and Madden forums). If this post gets me permanently banned so be it, but at least I said what had to be said and since u guys won't respond to me in private I made a public post in the only section that seemed appropriate.
If these message board gestaupo tactics don't stop, I think you will see this board begin to die. What exactly is the purpose of a message board that doesn't allow a free flow of ideas? If I wanted a site that just swung from John Madden's nuts I'd go to ign or ea.com or whatever. I come here to get REAL insights from hardcore sim sports players. That doesn't seem to be supported here anymore.
What do u all think?
